Used by the U.S. military for more than a decade, this water filter is built with rugged ultrasonic welded housing for durability. The filter uses hollow fiber technology with a 0.2 micron filter pore size and activated carbon to provide reliable, safe, and taste-free water with a flow rate of 1.2 liters per minute. Hermetically sealed packaging protects the filter during long-term storage, so that it’s ready to go when an emergency strikes. Effective Against: bacteria (99.9999%), protozoa (99.9%) and particulate (dirt, microplastics). Meets U.S. EPA Guide Standard and Protocol for Testing Microbiological Purifiers and NSF protocol P231 testing standard for bacteria and protozoa.
